April 25

His accent slightly foreign
troubled her.
“Don’t forget My cross.”
She heard “…crows.”
So she fed them,
tossed them her trinkets.
Endless sacrifice
begetting love.

lovely, and so comforting to know that the heart of the giver is seen, and loved. Oh the picture of her giving her best trinkets to the crows is beautiful, heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time.

I love it! So it is, sacrifice makes love. Even in a round 'bout way it always circles back.
