She pulled on dirty socks
in solidarity with the disciples,
who anticipated Monday.
Stiff, dry and salty. 
Fishing again. Threading needles.
Darning holes.

    And LOVE the picture. All that power and weight just waiting to break. I think that instead of evoking the poem, it enlarges it.

    Why makes perfect sense to your seesta. haha Ocean–back to the salt water, fishng, repairing nets. Can you imagine how they felt? LOVE this poem, Seesta!
